Definitions

THE CLIENT: The company or individual requesting the services of WEB DESIGN AND PRINT
WEB DESIGN AND PRINT: Primary designer/site owner, affiliates or representatives.

General

WEB DESIGN AND PRINT will carry out work only where an agreement is provided either by email, telephone, or mail. An ‘order’ is deemed to be a written or verbal contract between WEB DESIGN AND PRINT and THE CLIENT, this includes telephone and email agreements.

Disclaimer

Whilst every endeavour will be made to ensure that the website and any scripts or programs are free of errors, WEB DESIGN AND PRINT cannot accept responsibility for any losses incurred whatsoever due to malfunction, the website, the design or any part of it.

WEB DESIGN AND PRINT cannot take responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by THE CLIENT.

THE CLIENT agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to WEB DESIGN AND PRINT all materials required to complete the site to the agreed standard and within the set deadline.

WEB DESIGN AND PRINT will not be liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the failure to meet agreed deadlines.

WEB DESIGN AND PRINT will not be liable or become involved in any disputes between the site owner and their clients and cannot be held responsible for any wrongdoing on the part of a site owner.

WEB DESIGN AND PRINT will not be liable for any costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the work carried out on behalf of THE CLIENT or any of THE CLIENTs appointed agents.

WEB DESIGN AND PRINT will not be liable for any costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the unavailability of the site, its servers, software or any material provided by its agents.

Website Hosting

We offer hosting services to by buying server space from a company that we have been using for many years. This company is 1&1 Internet Ltd. They have great customer and technical service as well as an impressive uptime history. Should you require any additional information, please refer to the 1&1 Internet Ltd website for their terms and conditions.

Whilst WEB DESIGN AND PRINT recommends hosting companies to host websites, no guarantees can be made as to the availability or interruption of this service by WEB DESIGN AND PRINT and cannot accept liability for losses caused by the unavailability, malfunction or interruption of this service, or for loss of turnover, sales, revenue, profits or indirect, consequential or special loss.

Payment of Accounts

A deposit of 50% is required with any project before any work will be carried out.

Once a website has been designed and completed the final balance of payment is then due when the website is uploaded to the server, no later than 30 days from the date of the invoice unless by prior arrangement with WEB DESIGN AND PRINT.

Once a website has been completed and uploaded, any changes to the website will be charged on an hourly basis, pro-rata and billed monthly.

If accounts are not settled or WEB DESIGN AND PRINT has not been contacted regarding the delay, access to the related website may be denied and web pages removed.

If your wish to cancel your hosting package midway through the year, there will be no refund for hosing or email for that year.

Normal Procedure for Website Design

THE CLIENT requests a quote for a website or work to be carried out.

Once a price has been agreed, THE CLIENT pays 50% of the quote upfront.

THE CLIENT passes material to WEB DESIGN AND PRINT to complete the website. For example; words for each page, images, drawings or sketches of ideas or links to websites.

WEB DESIGN AND PRINT designs and uploads a test page to the WEB DESIGN AND PRINT server for THE CLIENT to look at. At this stage minor changes can be made to the design. Once agreed WEB DESIGN AND PRINT will work to complete the finished website.

If hosting and email is included, instruction for settin gup email on THE CLIENTs computer will be email and if nessesary talked through on the phone.

Once the website is completed and uploaded the work is finished and the final payment is made by THE CLIENT. Minor text changes can be made at this stage but any further changes will be charged in addition to the initial quote.

If hosting and email is included, THE CLIENT will be billed annually for hosing.
